Boeing 757-200SF (Special Freighter)
In October 1999, Boeing launched a B757-200 “Special Freighter” conversion programme with DHL as the launch customer.
Based on the 757-200 passenger aircraft, the B757-200SF has a 3.40m x 2.18m (134in x 86in) main deck cargo door located forward of the wing, no passenger facilities, cabin windows or entry doors, other than a small crew door just behind the cockpit. The crew compartment has a toilet, supernumerary seats and an optional small galley and is protected by a rigid 9G barrier.
Based on the Flight Crew Operating Manual (FCOM), the Boeing 757-200SF CD is available with either RR or PW engines.
Boeing 767 Freighter
The Boeing 767 Freighter is the air freight version of the 767-200/300ER passenger aircraft and normally have a 3.40 m x 2.18 m (134 in x 86 in) main deck cargo door located forward of the wing.
Freighter conversions based on standard 767-200/300 aircraft are referred to as 767-200/300SF (Special Freighter) aircraft, whilst conversions based on the 767-200/300ER (Extended Range) aircraft are referred to as 767-200/300ERSF aircraft.
Based on the Flight Crew Operating Manual (FCOM), the Boeing 767 Freighter CD is only available in the GE engine variant.
